Learning Outcome 3:

Critical reading is something I had to work on throughout this course. It was something that I struggled to get better at in the sense that once I found a way that worked for me, I didn’t want to change it. However, we are encouraged to try new techniques every couple of sources or so. My favorite type of strategy we used was when we could listen to someone talk about the topic while we took notes, whether it be free hand or notes on a transcript of the speech. One example of this type I have is from when we worked on the The Editor, which was a podcast and I took my own notes on it. The notes I took were of ideas or topics that I thought were important or just little side comments of what was happening.
