A clinical exemplar is a narrative reflection that describes an event that occurred between health care providers and patients, family members, or other caregivers. These are common to reflect on ways situations were handled and how to better approach situations that sometimes can be troubling.

I chose to write about a meaningful patient encounter that I experienced at Southern Health Care Maine during my preceptorship. I love developing connections with patients, and this is one of those experiences I will never forget.
